I have been running barefoot for sometime now and the experience has been great so far. No injuries, no pains just some soreness of calves.

The contact between the feet and the ground has made me more aware of my running style in terms of what works and what doesn’t. The blisters have been coming up regularly specially after running on asphalt in 80 plus temperature under scorching summer heat. But over the period of time the skin on my feet have become tough and hard and now ready to take the challenge.

The good part is none of these blisters actually gave me any pain. They were just there. They did not stop me from running and new ones kept coming up until none can anymore.

Having ran almost 40 miles barefoot, I am still evaluating my running form but barefoot running has kept me more in the present when I run. Still a long way to go, but as of now, I feel like I am on the right track.
